This Privacy Policy explains how Analog Electric Company ("AEC", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data of visitors to analogelectric.net, and of individuals we deal with in the course of our business as a manufacturer and exporter of servo/stepper motors, instrument transformers, and panel meters.

2. Personal Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Contact and business details you provide — name, company name, job title, email address, phone number, and any message content — when you submit our Request Quote or Contact forms, request a catalogue or the CE certificate, register interest at a trade show or exhibition, or enquire about becoming a dealer or distributor.
  • Technical and usage data collected automatically when you browse the site — approximate location (derived from IP address), device and browser type, pages viewed, time on page, and the site or search engine that referred you. This is collected via Google Analytics only after you consent to analytics cookies (see Section 4).

We do not knowingly collect payment card details, government ID numbers, or any data from anyone we know to be a minor. We do not use this data for any automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use personal data collected through the website for the following purposes:

  • To respond to quote requests, product enquiries, and general messages submitted through the website.
  • To send product catalogues, datasheets, and the CE certificate on request.
  • To follow up with visitors who register interest at an exhibition, trade show, or technical seminar.
  • To evaluate and respond to dealer or distributor enquiries.
  • To send product updates, new-product announcements, and event invitations by email — you can opt out of these at any time using the unsubscribe link in any such email, without affecting your ability to submit quote requests or receive order-related communication.
  • To operate and improve the website — understanding, in aggregate, which pages and products visitors find useful.
  • To meet legal, accounting, or regulatory obligations where applicable.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for purposes beyond those stated here without seeking fresh consent.

4. Cookies & Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC / Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), to understand how visitors use this site. Google acts as a data processor on our instructions for this purpose.

Analytics cookies are not set, and no data is sent to Google, until you actively consent via the cookie banner. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time using the "Manage Cookies" link in the site footer. A full, current list of cookies in use — including each cookie's name, purpose, and expiry — is available on our Cookie Policy page, which updates automatically as our cookie usage changes.

Where you are located in the EU/EEA or UK, we honour Google's Consent Mode v2 signals, meaning Google receives only aggregated, non-identifying signals until you grant consent.

5. Who We Share Data With

  • Google LLC — for website analytics (Google Analytics) as described above. Google's data centres are located outside India; see Section 8 on cross-border transfer.
  • Google Workspace — form submissions from the Request Quote and Contact pages are stored in Google Sheets and trigger an email notification via Gmail, both under our Google Workspace account. This is our internal operational record, not a third-party service.

We do not provide personal data to any other third party without your consent, except where required by law, to protect the rights or safety of any person, or when requested by a government or regulatory authority.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for:

  • Unconverted enquiries (quote requests or contact messages that don't turn into a customer relationship) — retained for 24 months from the date of last contact, then deleted or anonymised.
  • Converted leads (an enquiry that becomes an order or an ongoing customer relationship) — retained for 8 years, in line with our statutory record-keeping obligations under the Companies Act, 2013 and Income Tax Act.

Analytics data: retained in Google Analytics for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted.

7. Your Rights

As a data principal under the DPDP Act, 2023, you have the right to:

  • Access — request confirmation of what personal data we hold about you and obtain a copy.
  • Correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure — request deletion of your data where we are not required to retain it for legal or business purposes.
  • Grievance redressal— raise a complaint about how we've handled your data (see Section 11).
  • Nomination — nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.

When you contact us to exercise any of these rights, we will take reasonable steps to confirm your identity before acting on the request, to prevent your data being disclosed to or altered by someone impersonating you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at sales@analogelectric.net.

8. Cross-Border Data Transfer

Some of our service providers (notably Google) process data outside India. Under Section 16 of the DPDP Act, 2023, cross-border transfer is permitted except to countries the Central Government specifically restricts; no such restricted list is currently in effect. We only work with providers that maintain industry-standard security and privacy safeguards.

9. Intellectual Property & Use of Website Content

All product images, drawings, datasheets, specifications, and written content on analogelectric.net are the property of Analog Electric Company and are protected under applicable copyright and intellectual property law. You may view and download this content for your own evaluation and purchasing purposes. 10. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites — for example, government scheme portals, certification bodies, or industry associations. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these external sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies separately before providing any personal data to them.

11. Grievance Officer

In accordance with the DPDP Act, 2023, we have appointed a Grievance Officer to address any concerns about how your personal data is handled:

Primary — Name:
Rajesh Mishra
Secondary — Name:
Dinesh Mishra

We will acknowledge complaints within 72 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days.

12. Security of Information

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We ask visitors to exercise reasonable care when sharing personal data with us, particularly through unencrypted channels such as email.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our website, tools, or applicable law change. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage.
